Our June event takes you into the watery depths, bring us your merpeople, your selkies, your stingrays and octopodes/pi/puses? Row off into the horizon or paddle your toes on a more gentle coastline. Anything goes poetry wise as long as it has connections to the sea.
Here is a poem taking you to the shore for inspiration: poetryfoundation.org/poetrymagazine/poems/detail/56889
This is also the first event where Geneviève L. Walsh joins as official Stirred Poetry member and host!
This month we have a Hull invasion! Which means we will be shifting out format to accommodate their travel meaning guests will go on first and open mic will follow.
