We are pleased to welcome you to our prestigious annual International Conference in Manchester, United Kingdom. Since its inception in 2011, the International Academic and Research Conference has gained in stature and is currently considered to be one of the premier academic events for students and junior doctors. The conference, committed in promoting exchange of medical and scientific knowledge, is an opportunity for motivated and ingenious medical students and junior doctors to present their work to their peers, either as an oral or a poster presentation. The day will also feature keynote lectures from distinguished clinicians and scientists.
We welcome abstracts in the following areas:
1. Clinical Research
2. Laboratory Research
3. Clinical Audit
4. Service Evaluation [clinical or health-related]
5. Clinical and direct patient-related work [e.g., interesting and unique cases, case series,
patient-focused developments, clinical innovations and innovation of medical devices]
6. Literature Review
All abstracts selected for presentation will be published in the annual print edition of ‘World Journal of Medical Education and Research [WJMER; wjmer.com]’.
There will be a variety of prizes on offer, which will be awarded for the best presentations in each category, as well as for pioneering research, audits or medical devices that have had an impact on clinical practice or patient care.
The overall winner (Grand Prize Winner) will receive the acclaimed ‘Doctors Academy Award’ and attractive prizes. The winner will also be invited as a guest speaker to present his/her work and academic experience to delegates of the 8th International Medical Summer School in 2016. In addition, the winner will also be offered the opportunity to publish his/her full paper in WJMER.
Students and doctors can also attend this conference as a delegate without doing a presentation.
Further information can be found in the ‘Frequently Asked Questions’ and ‘Abstract Submission Guidelines’ sections. We hope you find the information in these sections pertinent and useful.
