Centre for Chinese Contemporary Art
Market Buildings, 13 Thomas St, M4 1EU Manchester, United Kingdom
As part of Short Story Week we explore the concept of narrative and story within art. Sarah Schofield from Manchester-based short story publisher Comma Press will lead a workshop in creative writing, using the gallery and exhibitions as inspiration. Participants are encouraged to utilise the imagery, themes, colours and techniques on display to create a unique piece of creative writing. No prior writing experience required.
As part of CFCCA’s ‘Thursday Late’ series.
Open until 8pm on the last Thursday of every month, CFCCA offers an opportunity to enjoy an evening in the gallery or participate in a unique event, including performances, film screenings and informal talks. Entry to the gallery is free but special events cost £4. This includes a refreshing Chinese tea tasting experience, led by our partner, Tea Mandala.
