What time do you open and when do you serve food until? — A tricky one! Traders always try and bring enough food to last until the end of the day but sometimes we are unexpectedly busy. Food tends to sell out entirely by 9pm most weeks and if the event or particular traders are especially popular sell outs can happen by 6pm or earlier. If you're keen to have the full array of options getting down early is reccommended! We're open for drinks and fun from 12pm — 10pm.
Where is Mayfield? — The site can be found on Baring Street which is less than 3 minutes walk from Picaddilly Train Station, best exit from the station is via the taxi rank area. It's just behind the Mayfield Depot. Google directions here… tinyurl.com/mqbapv2
Are dogs allowed? — Yep, our four legged friends are very welcome but please do keep them on a lead.
Do you take card? — YES the bar takes card! But please bring cash along too as the majority of traders supplying the grub do not take card.
Is it just beer? — Nope, we've got a fully stocked bar with cracking wine, cider, spirits, soft drinks and a coffee trader.
Will there be veggie/vegan/gluten free food? — We think it's really important that our events are as inclusive as possible so we always book traders that can provide for a wider audience and encourage them to make their menus as broadly appealing as possible. This means there will always be multiple vegetarian options, there will almost always be several vegan options and gluten free options will always be offered where possible. Look out for the menus from our traders being posted on this page in the run up to the event to confirm what will and won't be available or just ask us.
Are children allowed? — Yep, children are more than welcome to come along and enjoy the day until 8pm and then I'm afraid our licensing conditions mean it's adults only, sorry!
Is the venue disabled friendly? — Not right now no, although we have disabled bathrooms and everything is on the ground floor due to ongoing works there is quite a lot of rough, stone flooring which would make access tricky. This will be fixed very soon!
