MANCHESTER — we've missed you.
This summer has been a bit of a funny old one to be honest, what with the constant rain, Christmas music starting six months early, and a looming nuclear winter — we're quite looking forward to returning to some normalcy in Autumn…And by normality, we mean getting back to throwing some serious knees-ups with you lovely folk!
We’re going to be kicking Q4 off in style having finally secured an act we’ve been trying to get on our flex since day – the man himself — Mr Steven Julien / Funkineven
The Apron Records head honcho has long since been a team favourite here at HQ; with an inimitable style behind the 1s&2s that covers everything from bump ‘n grind slow jamz to heads-down-hoods-up acid, and a serious flair for production (as evidenced by his recent album Fallen, released as Steven Julien) — he’s a pretty fucking talented bloke.
A musical everyman that nails down whatever he puts his mind to, it’s really no surprise he’s been at the top of our hit list for quite some time.
He’ll be joining us as we once again take on our spiritual home – the Versions basement. Dark, intimate, and equipped with a four-point Void Acoustics rig, this place has everything you need to make a party pop off.
