Living in Saddleworth, we are often caught up in a good old Lancashire/Yorkshire debate. So we had the super idea of celebrating food from both counties, with the winners of each course being the county where the most dishes are ordered. The overall winner will be announced at the end of the evening. You may be in for a few themed surprises along the way!
Yorkshire Whitby Crab Cakes
with Cajun Spice, Spring Onion and Coriander. Served with a tartar Butter sauce and a Pea shoot Salad.
Lancashire Bury Blackpudding Croquettes
A delicious homemade Croquette filled with Blackpudding, mustard seed and home cured Ham. Served with Mark’s homemade Tomato and Worcester compote.
Yorkshire Fettle Tart (V)
A delicate tart made with Butternut Squash and Shepherds Purse Ewes Milk Cheese.
Yorkshire Braised Beef & Oxtail
Albion Farm’s own Beef steak with a delicious homemade Yorkshire Pudding and served with fondant Potatoes, glazed Carrots and buttered Kale
A homemade hotpot using Albion Farm Lamb and served with braised red Cabbage, Carrots and balsamic Shallots.
Lancashire Cheese & Onion Pie (V)
Our famous homemade Pie using a selection of delicious Lancashire Cheese and served with a Tomato and Onion salad and sea salt Potato wedges.
Lancashire Eccles Cake
Served hot with our delicious homemade Custard.
Lancashire Manchester Tart
With Mark’s modern twist of Coconut mousse, caramelised Banana and Cinnamon wafer.
Natalie’s classic Parkin, served hot with homemade Vanilla Custard.

Zesty baked Vanilla curd tart with macerated Berries.
