Everyone is welcome to join us for the final Peterloo 2019: Public Network Meeting for 2017.
Whether you are an interested individual, a member of a history organisation, a committed Peterloo campaigner, an artist interested in responding to the commemorations, or a teacher planning something for your school. We want to share and hear as many opinions as possible.
Please also share this event with any friends or colleagues who you think it will be of interest to.
After a successful 1st stage funding bid with Heritage Lottery Fund (read the press release at manchesterhistoriesfestival.org.uk/aboutus/peterloo2019
), Manchester Histories and our partner organisations have lots of updates to share, and we would like you to join us for an evening of participatory and creative organising for Peterloo 2019 at Manchester Art Gallery on Thursday 7th December.
This session is an important one as we will be activating our hive of creative minds to collectively, co-produce ideas for the Peterloo 2019 brand identity alongside our friends from Fido PR.
Furthermore we will also be sourcing, debating and nominating representatives from this network to form a central steering group in our very own Peterloo 2019 mini-hustings!
If you have a creative contribution — be it a poem, short story or song, and you would like to share it with the group, please email Barney on [email protected]
and we will try and accommodate it into the session — but please be aware this is on a first come first served basis due to the constraints of time.
So please save the date for the final Peterloo 2019: Public Network Meeting of 2017 as we continue to discuss ideas, partnerships and more leading up to the commemorations in Greater Manchester.
We would love active participation at this meeting so if you plan on attending please let us know and book at eventbrite.
If you have any questions about the meeting and would like any extra information, please contact Barney Francis, Peterloo 2019; Project Manager on [email protected]
or call 0161 306 1982.
