After another successful summer in Ibiza running and being involved in multiple parties in Ibiza super clubs, also co-branding with the infamous 'Lost in Ibiza' boat party, Emerge now launches at it's new home, Joshua brooks and versions, Manchester.
Since opening, this venue has been a big influence on the underground music scene, with playing host to the Chemical Brothers for their first ever residency to also being nominated for many awards such as the 'Best small club' award. Now they continue to play host to some of the biggest acts around the world whilst boasting a full Void air sound system fitted by Neuron Pro Audio.
We at Emerge are extremely excited to be given the opportunity to utilise Joshua Brooks and we will now be pushing a strong music policy with underground minimal and tech artists along with our residents DJ's, to bring a spectrum of visual and sound. Giving you an unforgettable experience each time you join us.
— FULL LINE UP:
Annie Errez is a DJ and music producer currently based in Leeds. Her musical background grew after a few nightclub visits and adventurous parties where her interest was sparked and she was moved by the electronic music scene.
At the turn of the millennium Annie became an avid record collector and has since devoted most of her time to just that – collecting and exploring the world of electronic music. Following guest spots at various clubs in the UK, Annie became a resident DJ for System at the Mint Club Leeds, in 2008, where she has since cultivated her own style and sound and, more importantly, learned the craft of the warm up DJ. Here she has been fortunate enough to share the decks with some of the best in the business and credits the Mint Club with developing her confidence and knowledge as a DJ.
In the last few years invitations to play further afield have followed including Berlin's Chalet Club, the Illusion Records Sonar Party, Gazgolder in Moscow and Below in Birmingham. Recently listed in FACT Magazine's Top 100 most underrated DJs, it is Annie's knowledge, commitment and genuine passion towards music that have quietly earned her the respect of the underground community.
Like many of today’s artists Annie arrived at music production via several years of buying, playing and studying the records in her collection and started to experiment on various pieces of hardware and software.
Her first releases appeared in 2013 on UK house labels Saints & Sonnets and Holic Trax, as well as an EP on her own Strobewax label. Shortly afterwards Annie was welcomed into Steve O’Sullivan’s coveted Mosaic Split Series with two solid releases on the label. 2018 also sees releases lined up on some of Annie's favourite labels.
We are very pleased to be welcoming Annie to headline our Manchester debut party on 15th February at Joshua Brooks.
