Welcome back, autistics and allies, to the third autistic pride picnic in Whitworth Park, Manchester, Sunday the 24th of June.
This day provides an opportunity to meet other autistic people and together, embrace and celebrate autistic neurology and culture.
We will be meeting by the statue of King Edward VII on the east side, at 12.00pm and finding a nice place to sit.
Bring your own blankets and food, bring snacks to share with others if you'd like to. Whitworth park is situated off Oxford road which has a choice of shops and food outlets.
Children and teddybears welcome. We welcome any musical and poetry performances, fly your kites, practice your cartwheels, pull out your colouring books — Here is th...e place to be yourself.
The park is easy to get to — a straight walk down from Oxford Rd train station, and on several regular bus routes. (see maps)
