All postgraduate research (PGR) students within the Faculty of Biology, Medicine and Health are welcome to participate in the Doctoral Academy PhD Conference.
This conference is organised by the Doctoral Academy Graduate Society (DAGS) and provides a great opportunity for PGR students to present their research to peers and academics from across the Faculty. It also provides a great opportunity to showcase the fantastic research you, our PGR students, are conducting!
Parallel oral presentation sessions will run throughout the day in the Committee rooms while a poster session will be held in Whitworth Hall. Lunch will be served with refreshments being available throughout the day.
We are delighted to announce… that our guest-speaker for the conference will be Dr Giles Yeo — a geneticist from Cambridge studying the interplay between food intake and obesity, you may have also seen him on TV on shows such as Horizon and Trust me I'm a Doctor — twitter.com/GilesYeo
