BRING YOUR FAMILY AND FRIENDS!
We are organising regional events around the country to give everyone a chance to come along with their families and friends. These events will highlight the Intergenerational effects of the State Pension changes.
Husbands, partners, sons, daughters, parents and grandchildren are all being affected by the difficulties that women are experiencing through the chaotic manner in which their state pension age was managed. We feel it is time to raise awareness about this so that no other group of people will be subjected to such inequality. It is worth noting that men's State Pension age changes will also be implemented From December this year.
WASPI has already started to support people in this action by producing an Intergenerational Letter template to be found on our website. There will be other activities and support provided at the regional day events as well as a welcome opportunity to meet your local Waspi activists and members of other local groups.
Local Group Coordinators will be needing lots of volunteers to help plan and prepare for this important day, so please look on our website if you are not a member of a local group to get involved.
Planned events will be publicised on our Facebook page and website and in the comments below.
